KYIV, Sept 23 – Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal expects that the pace of cooperation between Ukraine and the World Bank will not slow down next year.
"Financial support for Ukraine through World Bank instruments was discussed in New York during a meeting with Managing Director Axel van Trotsenburg and Vice President Anna Bjerde. In the early days of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the World Bank quickly mobilized its resources to help our state. On February 24, loans and grants totaling about $11 billion were raised, in particular, from the US and the UK," Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel.
