KYIV, Aug 25 - Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant was forced to shut down the last two operational units Thursday after a fire at a nearby facility damaged the last power line to the grid, Energoatom reported.

This is the first time in history that Zaporizhia NPP, Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, has been completely disconnected from the grid, a development that threatens its safety.
