KIEV, Nov. 15 - Ukraine is interested in joint projects with Poland to upgrade the gas pipelines linking the two countries, Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych said Wednesday.

"Ukraine attaches great importance to energy security and the creation of a unified Europe-wide format of cooperation in the energy sector. It should help guarantee deliveries of energy resources and establish a centralized market in the entire European space," he said.
