KYIV, July 28 - The European network of transmission system operators for electricity ENTSO-E has allowed an increase in the export of Ukrainian electricity to Europe by 2.5 times - up to 250 MW, said Volodymyr Kudrytsky, head of the board of Ukrenergo.
He said on Facebook that the increase in exports will begin on July 30.
"For us, this is an expected decision, since the beginning of the resumption of exports to the EU, from the first 100 MW, we have received daily reports from ENTSO-E technical specialists confirming that the export of Ukrainian electricity in the power grid synchronized with continental Europe is stable, there is no negative impact on the system," he said.
