KYIV, July 28 – Until the end of the year, housing prices in Ukraine will decrease by no more than 10% compared to December 2021, the press service of the Ukrainian Trade Guild (UTG) told Interfax-Ukraine.
As UTG analysts noted, two opposing trends are currently affecting the market.
"In the direction of reduction, the cost of housing is adjusted by the reduction in the population of a number of large cities, the fall in income and effective demand, the active stage of hostilities in a number of regions of Ukraine. However, along with a decrease in demand, supply decreased due to a significant slowdown in developer activity and the pace of housing construction. This will partially even out price changes in the secondary market," Kostiantyn Oliynyk, head of the Strategic Consulting Department at UTG, said.
