KYIV, July 22 – Agreements signed on July 22 to unblock three Ukrainian ports Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdenny for the export of grain and food products will bring Ukraine almost $1 billion in foreign exchange earnings per month, which will be used to support the country's economy and armed forces, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Mustafa Nayyem said.
According to him, this is also an opportunity for Ukrainian farmers to export crops and receive funds to prepare for the next sowing campaign.
"The unblocking of ports does not provide for any easing of sanctions against Russia. This is important, since such attempts and proposals have been made repeatedly. Also, the agreements reached on unblocking the ports have no effect on the actions of our Armed Forces at the front. No concessions, a truce, etc. The enemy must leave our lands and pay for all their crimes," he wrote on his Telegram channel on Friday.
