KYIV, July 20 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny confirms the proposals put forward on July 11 to defer the repayment and interest of eurobonds only for the next two years, as they are caused by the need to prepare for the upcoming heating season.

"Given that the proposals were initiated by Naftogaz in accordance with the government's strategic goals for the autumn-winter period of 2022/2023, Naftogaz management believes that the rescheduling of the principal amount of the debt in respect of the 2024 and 2026 bonds is not required at this stage," Naftogaz said in an exchange message on Wednesday.
