KYIV, July 8 – Electricity exporters will be involved in the fulfillment of public service obligations (PSO) to provide electricity to household consumers and will transfer 80% of their profits from exports to support existing tariffs for the population, Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko said.
We are talking about the fact that all exporters of electricity, regardless of the form of ownership, transfer part of their profits to reduce the service for state generation to cover the tariff for the population. I think this is a fair decision," Haluschenko said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
