KYIV, July 8 – The countries participating in the international conference under the IAEA auspices in Vienna, in their joint official statement, called on the Russian Federation to stop the illegal war against Ukraine and immediately withdraw troops and other personnel from all its territories, including the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant (NPP).

This was announced by Energoatom on the Telegram channel on Friday following the 7th meeting of the contracting parties to review the fulfillment of obligations under the Joint Convention on the Safety of Spent Fuel Management and on the Safety of Radioactive Waste Management organized by the IAEA, which was held from June 28 to July 8 at the IAEA headquarters in Vienna.
