LUGANO, July 6 - Assistance to the agricultural sector of Ukraine with the storage and export of crops and a new sowing campaign, as well as participation in the preparation of the country for the upcoming difficult heating season due to the war, are among the main priorities of the World Bank, World Bank Regional Country Director for Eastern Europe Arup Banerji said.
He said the two areas the bank will be working on are, firstly, how to help farmers, secondly, the approach of winter. It will be a very difficult winter for Ukraine, also because there are a lot of damaged housing, he told reporters at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Lugano.
