KYIV, June 28 - Commercial exports of 100 MW of electricity from Ukraine to Europe will start on June 30, Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko said.
ENTSO-E has made a long-awaited decision on the official start from June 30, 2022 of the commercial export of electricity from Ukraine to Europe. The initial export volume is 100 MW and the volumes will increase gradually, after a monthly assessment by ENTSO-E of the impact on the European energy system," the minister wrote on Facebook.
At the same time, he noted that technically the Ukrainian energy system can already provide up to 1,690 watts of power for export.
