KYIV, June 15 – The Ukrainian Energy Association (UEA), together with specialists from the Institute of Oil Transportation, suggested to the Ukrainian government a plan that calls for construction of a new oi refinery in Ukraine.

Russia has destroyed Ukraine’s oil refining sector and motor fuel storage infrastructure by missile strikes in March and April, making Ukraine completely reliant on imports from the European Union.

The new proposals were submitted to President Zelensky, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Energy.
