KYIV, June 10 – The share of the shadow economy had increased during the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine, head of the parliamentary committee on finance, taxation and customs policy Danylo Hetmantsev said.
"Measures to de-shadow have been going on actively since 2019, despite the attempts of smugglers and shadow companies to slow down this process. During the war, the share of the shadow economy increased, but the government is already taking measures to de-shadow it. There are enough powers," he told Interfax-Ukraine, commenting statement by President Volodymyr Zelensky on the fight against the shadow economy.
