KYIV, May 31 - Ukraine for the period from May 1 to May 30 exported 1.06 million tons of grain crops, the vast majority was corn – 1 million tons, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
Since the beginning of May this year, the rate of grain exports is 2.6 times lower than in the same period last year (for May 1-30, 2021, some 2.81 million tons were exported). Such a decline is explained by the blockade by the troops of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation of Ukrainian seaports, the key export infrastructure.
