KYIV, May 30 – The market for oil products is becoming more active after the abandonment of government price regulation, as evidenced by the increase in the number of their importers, in particular, more than twice for diesel fuel and one and a half times for gas, Director of the A-95 consulting group Serhiy Kuyun has said.

The number of diesel fuel declarants has almost doubled compared to the beginning of the month. If then about 30 companies declared imports, then yesterday there were already 66. For gas, the growth is one and a half times, the dynamics for gasoline is slightly worse. This means that many companies began to import independently, the effect that we expected from the rejection of government regulation," he said at a briefing at the Media Center in Kyiv on Monday.
