DAVOS, May 27 – Ukraine currently does not import natural gas, and at the same time it manages to increase its stocks in storage facilities, however, such imports are likely to be required by the end of the year, but their relatively small volume gives flexibility in purchases, Board Chairman of Naftogaz Ukrayiny Yuriy Vitrenko has said.
"It looks like Ukraine will most likely need imports. We don't import at all now, and at the same time we manage to pump gas into storage facilities. But by the end of the year, gas imports will be required. And we are working on finding better conditions," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
