KIEV, Nov. 7 ??“ The Southern Mining and Dressing Mill (Kryvy Rih), is on the verge of shutting down following a UkrGaz-Energo refusal to supply it with natural gas, the company said on Nov. 6.

A source said that UkrGaz-Energo did not provide the mill with gas supplies for November even though a contract signed in April 2006 is in effect until Dec. 31, and the mill does not owe anything to the gas trader. The source added that the gas trader had not answered the mill's inquiries.
