KYIV, April 20 – As of April 18, 17 shopping centers with a total area of 846,000 square meters were damaged due to the shelling by the Russian army in Ukraine, the press service of the Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers (UCSC) has told Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the press service, the degree of damage is different – from damage to the facade to completely destroyed buildings.

According to a preliminary assessment by UCSC experts, the total restoration cost of damaged and destroyed shopping centers is $248 million.
