KIEV, Nov. 6 - The Ukrainian population purchased $458.4 million more foreign currency than it sold in October, while in September the public purchased $196.2 million more, the National Bank of Ukraine said in a posting on its official Web site last week.

According to the bank, in October, Ukrainians bought $2.160 billion and sold $1.702 billion.
