KYIV, Feb 21 – On Monday, the Hague Arbitral Tribunal began hearings to determine the amount of compensation for Naftogaz Ukrayiny for the lost opportunity to use its assets in Crimea, Yuriy Vitrenko, Board Chairman of Naftogaz Ukrayiny, said.
"Naftogaz is demanding in this court compensation for damages of more than $10 billion, including interest. Reputable international experts present the corresponding damage assessment in court. We started work on determining and justifying the amount of damage back in 2015," he wrote on his page on Facebook.
