KYIV, Feb 7 – The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences have agreed on cooperation and coordination of activities in the interests of state security.
According to the press service of the SBU on Monday, the memorandum was signed by head of the special service Ivan Bakanov and president of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Anatoliy Zahorodniy.
"Our cooperation in countering the latest threats will be not only theoretical, but also quite practical. After all, the scientific and technical sphere can also become an object for sabotage attempts by foreign intelligence services or leakage of secret data. So the coordination of our actions will benefit state security," Ivan Bakanov said.
