KYIV, Feb 7 – Transit of natural gas through the gas transmission system (GTS) of Ukraine in January 2022 amounted to 1.664 billion cubic meters, down 56.5% on the year, Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU) said.

Transit in the western direction amounted to 1.15 billion cubic meters of gas, in particular Slovakia received 1.04 billion cubic meters (down 53%), Poland – 110 million cubic meters (down 66%).
