KYIV, Jan 20 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has downgraded its estimate of the growth of the country's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2022 from 3.8% to 3.4%, in 2021 – to 3% from 3.1%, according to report of the regulator on its official website.
"GDP growth will accelerate somewhat, to 3.4% in 2022. However, high energy prices and the information environment around geopolitical tensions will restrain the economy from recovering more rapidly," the NBU said.
