KYIV, Dec 24 – The Cabinet of Ministers at a meeting on Thursday approved the bill on the National Register of Emissions and Transfer of Pollutants, which will allow tracking the harmful emissions of more than 4,000 industrial enterprises operating in the country.

According to the bill, the register will allow the state to analyze and track the emissions of enterprises and identify priority industrial sectors in terms of introducing environment innovations. In addition, the document will provide an opportunity "to make effective decisions in terms of preventing and reducing industrial pollution."
