KYIV, Dec 23 - The Cabinet of Ministers intends to allocate UAH 300 million from the budget reserve fund to pay off wage arrears to the employees of state coal mining enterprises.

The corresponding protocol instruction to the Ministry of Economy was adopted at a government meeting on Thursday.

"To agree with the appeal of the Verkhovna Rada on the allocation of UAH 300 million from the reserve fund of the budget for wages to miners and instruct the preparation of an appropriate draft act of the Ministry of Economy together with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Justice, and immediately submit it to the government for consideration," Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko said.
