KYIV, Dec 23 - A number of confectionery enterprises have announced plans to fully or partially suspend production due to high prices for natural gas, the Ukrkondprom association reported.

According to the head of the association, Oleksandr Baldyniuk, the producers of sweets have been balancing on the brink of profitability for several months due to the ultra-high prices for gas and the growth in the cost of all other components of production.
