KYIV, Dec 21 – The thermal power plants (TPP) of DTEK Energy in January-November 2021 increased electricity supply by 9.6% (by 1.978 billion kWh) compared to the same period in 2020 - up to 22.565 billion kWh, the press service of the company said.
According to its data, in November, the supply of electricity by thermal generation from DTEK amounted to almost 2.4 billion kWh.
"Despite the minimal load on other thermal generation enterprises due to fuel shortage, our TPPs continue to maintain the stable operation of the Ukrainian energy system. Last week, the number of DTEK Energy TPP units in operation reached 31 out of all 38 TPP power units operating in the system. This is a record in terms of the number of equipment operating simultaneously in the network over the past ten months," general director of the company Ildar Saleev said.
