KYIV, Dec 20 – Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal assured President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday that the government will not allow disruption of the energy sector despite ongoing coal shortages.

Shmyhal, Zelensky and other top government officials had an urgent meeting on Monday amid reports that some smaller towns in eastern parts of the country may have heat or power supplies disrupted due to shortages.
