MOSCOW, Dec 16 - Gazprom has met its obligations under its gas transit contract with Ukraine for 2021, having transported 40 billion cubic meters (bcm) through the country since the start of the year, the Russian gas giant said.
At the current rate of transit, Gazprom could transport about 42 bcm of gas through Ukraine by the end of the year. The company data show that the threshold of 40 bcm was crossed at the end of the December 14 gas day, on the morning of December 15.
