KYIV, Dec 10 – Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko has asked the government to dismiss the chief of the country country’s nuclear safety inspectorate for alleged delays in certification of new power generation technology.

At a meeting of the government on Thursday, Haluschenko suggested the work of Hryhoriy Plachkov, Head of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate, was “unsatisfactory” and asked for the intervention.
