KYIV, Dec 3 – Parliament, as part of the amendments to the state budget for 2021 adopted on Thursday, made, in particular, changes to the final and transitional provisions of law of Ukraine No. 1419-IX on overcoming the deficit of scrap metal in the domestic market, increasing the export duty from the existing EUR 58 to EUR 180 per ton of scrap.

Some 242 MPs voted for the bill on amendments to annexes Nos. 1 and 3 of the law of Ukraine on the state budget of Ukraine for 2021 (regarding the implementation of infrastructure projects and the development of social and cultural facilities) at a parliamentary meeting on Thursday.
