KYIV, Nov 26 – The new forecast power balance for 2022 by the Ministry of Energy provides for an increase in power generation by 2.5% compared to 2021, to 161 billion kWh, the Ministry of Energy said on its website on Friday.

According to the forecast balance, approved by the ministry on November 11, 2021, electricity consumption (gross) in the country next year should amount to 153.7 billion kWh, an increase of 0.5%.
