KYIV, Nov 26 – President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke in favor of ensuring the conditions for the transition to as much as possible electricity consumption to switch from the use of natural gas that has become expensive.
"With the steps that we are now taking, with the signing of agreements with Westinghouse on the construction of new NPP units, I would switch to the use of electricity as much as possible. We do not import it, it is ours by 97%. If we switch to electricity as much as possible, this will be biggest energy independence. Then gas is only for export," he said at the marathon press conference "30 Questions to the President of Ukraine "on Friday in Kyiv.
