KYIV, Nov 22 – The first of seven ships contracted by DTEK with 60,500 tons of coal has arrived in Ukraine, DTEK Energy has reported.
"The Panamax-class vessel docked at the Pivdenny port and is intended for the needs of state-owned thermal power plants of Centrenergo. The volume of the first delivery amounted to 60,500 tons," DTEK Energy said on its website on Saturday evening.
To date, DTEK had agreed with international suppliers on the import of seven shiploads of coal, of which five shipments with coal from the United States, two from Colombia.
