KYIV, Nov 19 – Ukraine will need at least $700 million loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to maintain liquidity by the end of the year, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko said.
The IMF is expected to decide on November 22 whether the pace of reforms in the country was sufficient enough to resume lending to Ukraine after some reforms had been stalled this year.
"This will allow us to receive funds to maintain liquidity by the end of the year," he said at the annual meeting of the European Business Association in Kyiv.
