KIEV, Oct. 25 ??“ The acceleration of the growth in prices in September has reduced the possibility of maintaining inflation at 10% in 2006 in Ukraine, according to Valeriy Lytvytsky, head of the National Bank of Ukraine advisors group.

"The budget's guiding point of 8.7% practically could not be reached. The possibility to maintain growth of consumer prices at 10% - a comfort range for Ukraine ??“ has fallen," Lytvytsky said in an article published in the Uriadovy Kurier newspaper.
