KYIV, Nov 11 – There are four ways to overcome the shortage of 5.5 billion kWh of electricity, which is projected in the Ukrainian power system in November-March 2021-2022, DTEK CEO Maksym Timchenko said.
"It is necessary to import 1 million tons of coal to Centerenergo, which will make it possible to generate 2 billion kWh. The price of this electricity, based on the current quotations of $150 per ton of coal in Amsterdam, is UAH 4 [per kWh]," he said at a press conference on Tuesday.
