KYIV, Nov 10 – At a meeting on Wednesday, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution on transferring the state-owned stake in Centrenergo and state-run coal mines to the restored Energy Company of Ukraine.

"We are not abandoning plans for the privatization of Centerenergo and we believe that the creation of a company that includes coal mining and generation will only increase interest in it during an open auction," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said, explaining the situation.
