KIEV, Oct. 25 ??“ Ukraine has attracted a $700,000 grant from Japan's Policy and Human Resources Development Fund, the World Bank's representative office in Ukraine said on Tuesday.

The World Bank said that on Oct. 24, First Deputy Economy Minister Anatoliy Maksiuta and World Bank Director for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova Paul Birmingham signed an agreement on the receiving the grant in the presence of Japan's ambassador to Ukraine, Mutsuo Mabuchi.
