KYIV, Nov 9 – DTEK has contracted 600,000 tons of coal for the first quarter of 2022, but has a shortage of anthracite for the Luhansk thermal power plant (TPP), DTEK CEO Maksym Timchenko said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
"In general, in 2021, we imported 2.5 million tons of coal. For the first quarter of next year, we have already contracted 600,000 tons of coal: supplies from Poland and supplies by sea. We have a problem with supplies of anthracite," he said.
