KYIV, Nov 9 – Gazprom has increased transit of Russian natural gas to Europe via Ukrainian gas pipelines amid skyrocketing gas prices and growing concerns that Russia may have been weaponizing energy.

Serhiy Makogon, the head of Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU) , said Gazprom has been moving 88-90 mcm (million cubic meters) per day over the past few days, which is slightly less than the booked 109 mcm per day.
