KYIV, Nov 5 - Russia has blocked the transit of Kazakh coal via its territory to Ukraine that may aggravate the energy crisis, Andriy Gerus, the head of Parliament’s energy committee said late Thursday.

Gerus, who is also a senior member of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s party, said the transit was blocked by Russia’s railroad company by refusing the passage of railroad cars loaded with Kazakh coal.
