KYIV, Nov 3 – Transmission system operator NPC Ukrenergo said the reason for activation of emergency assistance from Belarus and Slovakia in power supply on November 2 was the lack of capacity in the Integrated Power System of Ukraine and in Burshtyn TPP Island due to increased accidents at power units of thermal power plants (TPPs).
According to the operator's website on Tuesday evening, the estimated volume of emergency assistance from Belarus, carried out from 13:00 to 20:00, is 3,500 MWh, from Slovakia to Burshtyn TPP Island, which lasted from 10:00 to 20:00, 800 MWh.
