Ukrainians report lower level of anxiety after COVID-19 pandemic: Poll

KYIV, Nov 2 – The level of anxiety about the state of one's health in the context of the pandemic has slightly decreased since the spring of this year, according to the results of the study "Social and Political Moods of the Population" conducted by the Rating sociological group on October 21-23.

A total of 41% of respondents expressed excitement about the possibility of personally contracting coronavirus, 57% have no such fears. Some 77% are worried about the health of their relatives and friends, 23% are not. High rates of anxiety, as in previous times, are recorded in the older age group and among women. Also, those who have already been vaccinated are less afraid of getting sick than those who just want to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
