KYIV, Oct 29 – The Ukrainian Association of Producers of Ferroalloys and Other Electrometallurgical Products (UkrFA) has applied to government agencies with a proposal to introduce special duties on import of ferroalloys from Russia due to non-competitive conditions and damage to domestic producers.

According to an UkrFA statement, the text of which was sent to Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday, fair competition is impossible under unequal conditions – without legislative restrictions, domestic ferroalloy producers will not be able to compete.
