KYIV, Oct 25 – In January-September 2021, biggest polluting companies inflicted losses on the environment in the amount of over UAH 2 billion, half of which was caused to land resources, the State Environmental Inspectorate said on its website on Monday.

"The State Environmental Inspectorate drew up more than 35,000 protocols on administrative violations, brought to justice almost 32,000 people. Based on the inspectorate's materials, more than 400 criminal proceedings have been opened," the state inspectorate said, citing its head Andriy Maliovany.
