KYIV, Oct 19 – National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom has prepared an intergovernmental agreement between Ukraine and the United States on the construction of power units using the technology of U.S. Westinghouse and sent it for approval to the central authorities, Energoatom Head Petro Kotin has said.
"We have already prepared an intergovernmental agreement, it deals with the provision of guarantees from the Ukrainian government, agreements on the AR1000 reactor, financing by the parties, and support of the U.S. government in these processes," Kotin said, answering journalists' questions during a visit to Zaporizhia NPP on the 25th anniversary of Energoatom.
