KYIV, Oct 6 – The Ministry of Energy expects that gas stocks in underground storage facilities (UGS) in Ukraine at the beginning of the heating season will amount to 19.2 billion cubic meters (bcm), Minister of Energy Herman Haluschenko has said.

"We plan to start the heating period with 19.2 billion cubic meters," he said during a government meeting on Wednesday.

According to him, there are now about 19 billion cubic meters of gas in the underground storage facilities.
