KYIV, Oct 5 – National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom is ready for the autumn-winter period 2021/2022 and is ready to produce additional 650 million kWh by the end of the year, which is almost 3% above the electricity forecast balance.

"Energoatom has completed all the organizational and technical measures to prepare Ukrainian nuclear power plants [NPPs] for the autumn-winter period, during which at least 14 NPP power units will operate," the company reported on its website on Tuesday.
