KIEV, Oct. 20 - Mars, the world's largest producer of chocolate and pet food, may build a $15 million pet food plant in the Kiev region, Volodymyr Koval, head of the foreign investment department in the Kiev regional administration, said.

A land plot has already been allocated for the construction of the plant in the region's Boryspil district, and construction is to begin in 2007, Koval told Interfax.
